The Bachelor Canada, scheduled to run on Citytv this fall and produced by Vancouver-based Force Four Entertainment, is looking for the nation’s “most eligible, rose-loving bachelorettes” to vie for the love of the first Canuck Mr. Right.

The nine-episode series is based on the hit U.S. TV matchmaking show The Bachelor, which is in its 16th season on Citytv and OMNI Television.

“Canada is brimming with eligible bachelors and bachelorettes and we’re excited to offer them the opportunity to embark on their own quest for love,” executive producer Claire Freeland said in a statement.
