SURREY, B.C. - A full regimental funeral will be held Thursday in Surrey, B.C., for an RCMP helicopter pilot who died after completing a training exercise.
Cpl. Annie Linteau says details of the service for civilian member Dave Brolin are still being worked out.
She says a parade is unlikely, but there will be an honour guard.
The 46-year-old father of two died Jan. 17 when his helicopter came down near Cultus Lake, east of Vancouver.
Linteau says the funeral will take place at 1 p.m. at the Peace Portal Alliance Church in Surrey.
The public is welcome but seating is limited and Linteau says priority will be given to Brolin's family, friends, colleagues and those attending in uniform.
