Crown prosecutors have approved charges against eight more alleged Stanley Cup rioters.

Vancouver police announced Wednesday that 26 charges have been approved against the eight individuals, all between the ages of 18 and 26.

To date, 38 people have been charged with 103 offences in relation to the June 15 riot, which occured after the Vancouver Canucks lost Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final at home.

Charged are Eric Palmer, 26, Duncan Yee, 20, Samia Ahmed, 18, Chelsea Andrews, 18, and Arian Anwari, 18, all of Surrey, 22-year-old Burnaby resident Sean Yates, 19-year-old Chilliwack resident Joshua Pharand and 21-year-old Comox resident Timothy Lau.
