| Kyprios and Chin Injeti are among the two dozen artists participating in a benefit concert for the children of a Vancouver musician who died last year.
Bruce Randall “Randy” Ponzio, 35, was reported missing after he failed to return home from a bar in November. His body was discovered days later in a room at the Balmoral Hotel in the 100 block of East Hastings.
“All of his friends knew that the purpose for his success was to provide for his children, who were the light and love of his life,” said Nova Koocher, his manager. “He was a good father, a good friend and a good man.”
The concert will be held on Friday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. at the Commodore Ballroom.
The lineup also includes local artists such as David Morin, Dan Ross, Chantel Upshaw, and Foundation.
Tickets are $40 in advance and proceeds will go to Ponzio’s family.
