The NFL came to Vancouver Sunday as fans and bandwagon football enthusiasts celebrated Super Bowl XLVI.
The Commodore Ballroom played host to the official Super Bowl party and featured NFL legend Marcus Allen and Oakland Raiders wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh.
“I’m going for the white quarterback, you can’t go wrong,” joked Allen before the New England Patriots and New York Giants took to the field.
The Sheepdogs lead singer Ewan Currie, who performed after the game, said he was hoping for a Patriots win but wasn’t prepared to bet on it.
“I like to play a little Pro-Line or Sport Select, but my record isn’t very good. So I’m wisely staying away,” Currie said.
