TORONTO - Music fans across the country will be watching as the Juno Award nominees are announced this morning.

Nominations in all 41 categories will be announced at a news conference in Toronto.

The awards gala will be held April 1 at Ottawa's Scotiabank Place and will be broadcast on CTV.

Performers scheduled for the show include Toronto-based indie songstress Feist, electronic producer Deadmau5 and City & Colour.

Toronto roots-rock outfit Blue Rodeo will also perform on the same night that the veteran band will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

This year's show will also mark the addition of a new category honouring the best metal/hard music album of the year.
